The House
Well, we finally found a house after a month or so of looking. Move in was interesting as the truck was there when the earthquake hit. Dimitrios didn't realize what was going on until I went in to check on him after it was over. I was sitting in the garage hoping that nothing was going to fall on me. One of the movers was in the truck when it started shaking back and forth. At first he thought his co-workers were "messing" with him and shaking the truck. Jeff didn't feel the quake as he was in the car when it hit. Anyway, there were no casualties.
Also thought some pics of the house before it was filled with boxes would be nice. Here are a couple of the good pictures. The first is the living room with a built in sitting area by the gas fireplace, the second is the dining area leading to the deck and the third is a picture of the side yard. These were the best pictures I had from the ones taken. The house has a master suite with huge closets, two bedrooms, another bathroom, dining area, kitchen, living room, den/formal dining, garage, and deck with a swing. It is strange not having a basement though. The house seems smaller somehow because of it.
The neighborhood is beautiful. There are lots of pools and parks, award winning schools, a couple lagoons, and lots of shopping spots. The home owners association always has things to do including swimming lessons, ballroom dancing, and organized sports.
