Corona del Mar Beach

When Jeff went to the beach one of the days it was very busy. So busy he couldn't find any parking so he and Dimitrios went shopping at Fashion Island instead. They found some fun things to do in there. Anyway, we tried again the next day and were able to find a spot not too far from the beach. We had a great time even though it was a bit overcast. People all around us had either umbrella's, rain flies, or tents up. It was kind of strange seeing a tent on the beach. Several life guards were milling through the crowds. One was even driving around on the beach in a Jeep loaded down with gear. The beach didn't smell as terrible as I remember but the water was very cold and still tasted horrible. There weren't any nice size shells on the beach either. Must have to get there really early.
