Fun in the Pool

Well, pretty much every day at about 4 pm we go to meet another family at the pool that is in the complex. They are from Montreal (Canada) and they are going to be moving on to Japan in a few weeks. The parents are Gaston and Ufong (don't know if the spelling is correct) and the children are Jullian (7), Mathias (5) and Meghen (2). Dimitrios and Jullian hit it off right away. Meghan was very shy and Mathias observed for a couple days first. Now they all play together. Here are some of the pictures.

Here the kids and Gaston were playing with a ball. Notice how Jeff strategically captured the lady in the bikini. :)

Dimitrios has been getting really good at swimming (I think it helps to have a friend who can swim). He has a pair of googles that are a huge help. Sometimes he and Jullian will go under water and make faces at each other. It is quite amusing.

The kids go back and forth between the pool and the hot tub. I don't know why because the regular pool is super cold after the hot tub.

We have had some great exploring experiences as well. We found one of the Libraries, several great shopping areas, several grocery stores, and Corona del Mar beach.

This weekend we will be heading up to Buena Park to check out the Medieval Times resturant. It should be interesting as they have jousting and other shows while you eat a 4 to 6 course meal. That should be fun!
