Yosemite National Park -- Day 4 (Heading Home)

After a wonderful breakfast we worked on closing up the house and packing. While we did that our son went outside and used his imagination and his camera.

He took several shots of his bald eagle in what might be his "natural habitat" before we hauled him into the house to pack up the car.

After closing up the house and turning in the keys we headed out for home. Knowing that town would be extremely busy we headed out "the back way" to avoid traffic. Getting out to the road to "the back way" proved to be completely clogged. But eventually we were able to get on the the shortcut and we had very little traffic. Just before getting on the big highway we stopped at an exotic animal farm. We made it just in time for feeding so all the animals came to the fence. I don't even know how many different animals there were! Here are some of them...

Yes, this is an ostrich. I was lucky to get this shot as he kept turning his back on the camera.

While the farmer's grandson was out feeding the animals we asked about this creature. Turns out he is part donkey and part zebra.

The camel decided he wasn't waiting for his share to be put on the ground.

It was great to see this beauty! The American Bison aka the Buffalo.
