Logoland and Sea Life Aquarium...
Wow! So many pictures... I put the ones I liked the best below. We started with a good breakfast at the Upper Deck Sports Cafe. Next we headed to the Land of Adventure to start our adventures with Lost Kingdom Adventure where you can use laser guns to hit targets and gets points. Dee was one of the top scorers. Next we went to Castle Hill where there were lots of knights and such. We actually got Dee on a roller coaster called The Dragon. He actually found it fun and didn't get sick this time. Next we headed to Miniland USA by way of the Art of Legos.
This is one of the statues in the Art of Legos. The thinking men... :)
This is in Miniland USA. The Washington DC section had a ton of the national monuments and the Obama inauguration all out of Legos... So cool!!
They had the Walk of Fame with busts of several famous people including Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth II, William Shakespeare, Marilyn Monroe, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elvis Presley, George Washington, and several others. The detail was great! Above is William Shakespeare.
This was in the Imagination Zone at one of the many stores throughout. It was joined by a full size Chubaka that was really cool!
Next we went to the Sea Life Aquarium. At the beginning of the tour we picked up a question and answer scratch off game. As you went through the aquarium you could find questions you needed to answer on the sheet. A yellow starfish was the right answer and red was the wrong answer. We noted after the second question the answers could usually be found fairly close to the question. Go figure... We also stopped at a couple hands on exhibits that were really cool. There was one are representing the tide pools here on the west coast and another with animals not found here. One of those animals was a horseshoe crab. The attendant at the exhibit was fairly impressed we knew what it was as it is not native to the Pacific Ocean. Also, throughout the exhibits there were 3 foot tall logo people working underwater with their vehicles and equipment. Some had buttons that would make sounds and release bubbles from the scuba divers. In the tanks were some great examples of sea life. Sharks, manta rays, stingrays, various fish, anemones, sea urchins, crabs, coral, and seaweed. At the end of the tour we went through the store to get the "expert" sticker from the quiz.
